It's important to remember that skills training without the proper weight lifting and strength training protocols will not do an athlete much good if they cannot stand up to the physical play of their sport, dominate their opposition, minimize injuries, and compete at 100% for an entire game. Coach Green's athletes stand out physically on the playing field with their strength, power, and explosiveness, in a multitude of sports.
Coach Green's Physical Development Training Program includes a three phase weight lifting protocol where individual athletic needs, current level of development, position and sport specific requirements, plus proper technique, are addressed on an continual basis.
Given sufficient time and the appropriate training commitment, all three training phases will work together synergisticaly to build a very muscular, stronger and explosive, athletic and college ready athlete, while reducing the risk of injury in the gym, on the field, and during competition.
Coach Green's attention to detail also includes his science based and performance proven, nutrition program. Used by athletes on all levels in conjunction with their physical development training, athletes develop faster, recover quicker, and maintain better energy for more explosive workouts, practices, and games.
Student-Athletes: Coach Green's physical development training programs produce progressive results that are measurable, with full time athletes gaining an average of 30 pounds of lean body mass and strength improvements of up to 100% each year. It's not uncommon for his four year athletes to gain 100 pounds of muscle throughout their high school career, while increasing their strength by 400%. Coach Green's strongest high school athletes have squatted over 600 pounds for a one rep. max, and 315 pounds for 20 reps. They have also benched 400 pounds for one rep. max, and 225 pounds for 20 reps.
